The Blazers are looking to build on their back-to-back wins against a Dallas team that has won three straight themselves. Portland beat the Mavericks in their first meeting of the season, in Dallas, 121-119. Mavs SF Luka Doncic had a patented 29-point, 12-rebound and 11-assist game, while Porzingis added 32 points. But, the Portland backcourt torched the Mavericks with PG Damian Lillard and SG C.J. McCollum combining for 63 points in the win.
As for the moneyline, let’s PASS because the Blazers’ +240 odds aren’t good enough for their 29% win probability and the Mavericks being a much more consistent team. The -303 odds for the Mavs are just too chalky with a $10 bet returning a profit of just $3.30.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
Motivation is higher for the Blazers, who are in a seven-team race for the 8-seed in the Western Conference.
