While Sunday’s game against the Vikings could’ve had meaningful playoff implications for the Bears, instead Chicago will wrap up what’s been a disappointing 2019 season with an opportunity to complete a season sweep of the playoff-bound Vikings.
Not that the Bears have shown much in these last two weeks that proves that they’re capable of doing just that. But that’s what the hope is as Chicago will have to watch from home as the Packers and Vikings look to make playoff runs.
The Bears played less-than-inspiring football against the Chiefs on a primetime stage on Sunday, and while there isn’t anything meaningful left to play for, pride is still on the table.
Even if the Bears can manage a win — and a second sweep of an NFC North opponent this year, after sweeping the Lions — it won’t mean much in the grand scheme of things. But it’d be nice for Chicago to go out with a win and even a sliver of confidence heading into an important offseason.
With that said, who wins on Sunday?
