The Arizona Cardinals’ Week 17 game is on the road against the 11-4 Philadelphia Eagles. The Cardinals close out their road schedule with the second-worst record in the NFL at 3-12 and have only one road win all year.
The Eagles had a three-game losing streak but snapped that on Monday with a 33-25 win over the Giants.
Philly has a potent offensive attack with a very good quarterback in Jalen Hurts, a very good running back in De’Andre Swift and high-end pass catchers with receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.
They have a great offensive line.
The Cardinals can run the ball and get production in the pass game from tight end Trey McBride. They are awful defensively.
The Eagles are heavy favorites in this game.
But Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis have first-hand knowledge of Hurts’ weaknesses.
Can they exploit them and pick up an upset win on New Year’s Eve?
