While the Bears defense regressed following a breakout 2018 season, they still did more than enough to get the team back to the postseason. Although the defense saw a decline in the number of takeaways from a season ago, they did allow the fourth-fewest points in the NFL.

The only problem was the shortcomings of their offense, which was statistically one of the worst in the entire league. Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky regressed tremendously in his third year, and his future in Chicago is in question moving forward.

But for all of the offense’s struggles, it wasn’t just Trubisky. It would’ve been easier if it were. Matt Nagy’s questionable play-calling, lack of a run game, lack of tight end production and inconsistent offensive line play were also factors in the offense’s decline.

Bleacher Report went as far to give the Bears a “C” grade for the season. But what do you think? How would you grade the 2019 season?
