One of the Arizona Cardinals’ offseason signings in free agency is former Seattle Seahawks defensive end L.J. Collier. He was a first-round pick in 2019 who has just disappointed thus far. He has only three career sacks and has struggled to stay healthy enough to play.
The Cardinals are taking a chance on him and it makes sense. His contract is for slightly more than the league minimum and he fills a need they have at defensive end.
There can’t be high expectations but the cost was minimal, and there is a small chance a change of scenery could be what he needs.
