We’re now six weeks into the Jared Goff era as the starting quarterback for the Detroit Lions. With Goff leading the Lions into battle against his old team, the Los Angeles Rams, this week, it’s a good time to see where the Detroit fanbase stands on the new quarterback.
Through six games, Goff has completed 159 of his 238 pass attempts, a 66.8 completion percentage. He has thrown for 1,505 yards, seven TDs and four INTs. His league rankings (among 32 QBs who have thrown at least 99 passes) through six weeks:
Completions: 6th
Attempts: 5th
Completion percentage: 14th
Yards: 17th
Yards per pass: 31st
QB Rating: 23rd
Net yards per attempt: 29th
Are Lions fans ready to pull the plug on Goff at the end of the season? Or are they ready to see more of Goff with a (hopefully) better supporting cast in 2022 and perhaps beyond?
