The 2020 college football season is underway after Week 1 showcased Group of Five contests.

Miami will be the first Power five team to play in the 2020 season, a campaign that has been altered due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Hurricanes will host UAB tonight at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised by ACC Network.

College football Hall of Fame coach Dennis Erickson joined the show “Tennessee Two-A-Days” ahead of the Miami-UAB game. Erickson served as Miami’s head coach from 1989-94, winning two national championships (1989, 1991).

Erickson also served as head coach at Washington State (1987-88) before taking the Miami job. In 1988, Erickson led Washington State to a 52-24 victory over Tennessee at Neyland Stadium.
