Players the Vikings will have to pay after 2020 season

A look at players set to be unrestricted free agents after the 2020 season.

The Vikings have a decision to make regarding running back Dalvin Cook, who will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 season.

There have been reports that the Pro Bowler will hold out of he does not receive an extension to his liking.

Along with Cook, there are a number of other players who will be unrestricted free agents after the 2020 season with the Vikings.

Here’s that list.

The good news for the Vikings is that besides Cook and Harris (who the team franchise-tagged this year), there aren’t any players who will be demanding big-time money.

The Vikings have $32 million of cap space for the 2021 season prior to these deals per OverTheCap.

Let’s say Cook gets $14 million per year and Harris agrees to somewhere around $9 million, that takes up a substantial chunk of that cap space.
