Boston Celtics center Daniel Theis has been a glue guy for the contenders this postseason, playing some terrific defense in the middle of the paint, hitting occasional threes and rebounding.
On Monday night, during the Celts’ 111-89 win over the Toronto Raptors to take a 3-2 lead in their Eastern semifinals series, he was on the receiving end of an inadvertent kick to the face courtesy of Pascal Siakam. It look painful, but Theis was okay.
That led to a lot of people — including former WWE star Mick Foley — to make the same jokes that Theis was on the receiving end of a WWE kick:
