Carmelo Anthony announces retirement, looking back at some of his best games against the Warriors

Following the announcement of his retirement, Warriors Wire looked back at some of Carmelo Anthony’s best performances against the Warriors.

After not suiting up in the 2022-23 season, Carmelo Anthony is officially hanging it up. On Monday morning, the all-time great offensive scorer announced his retirement from the NBA following a decorated 19-year playing career.

The 10-time All-Star took to Twitter early on Monday morning to announce his retirement from the game.

Over his 19-year campaign, Anthony averaged 22.5 points on 44.7% shooting from the floor and 35.5% from beyond the arc to go along with 6.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

During the 2012-13 season with the New York Knicks, Anthony averaged 28.7 points per game on his way to winning the scoring title.

Along with 10 All-Star appearances, Anthony earned six All-NBA team nods and was included in the NBA’s 75th anniversary team.
