PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers played host to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday looking to find some momentum. The Sixers entered the contest losers of five of their past six games and struggling to find success without the injured Joel Embiid.

The Sixers got off to a hot start as they built an 11-point lead, but they could not sustain it. The Mavericks used a steady diet of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic in the second half and were able to rally for a 118-102 win. Irving and Doncic combined for 42 points and the Mavericks also received 20 points out of Josh Green. The Sixers are now 4-11 without Embiid.

Philadelphia received 19 points and six rebounds from Kelly Oubre Jr., Tobias Harris added 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists, and Tyrese Maxey added 15 and seven dimes. Marcus Morris Sr. added 10 and five rebounds while Patrick Beverley added seven points while Mo Bamba grabbed 10 rebounds off the bench.
