In the first half, the Nets hung around with the Nuggets in the first quarter thanks to some timely offense from players like Cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges. The second half was when Denver brought things open as Brooklyn shooting percentages dropped off a cliff and could not keep up with the Nuggets in terms of scoring points.

In the second half, this game became a blowout early in the third quarter as it was clear that the Nets did not have the legs to keep pace with the Nuggets and just couldn’t string together good offensive possessions. Brooklyn head coach Jacque Vaughn waved the white flag to start the fourth quarter as the Nets will play again on Saturday.
