PHILADELPHIA–The Philadelphia 76ers played host to the Detroit Pistons on Friday looking to pick up another win in this soft part of the schedule. The Sixers just knocked off the Pistons on the road 129-111 on Wednesday and were looking for a similar performance in this one.
The Pistons once again did not offer up much resistance. The Sixers never trailed in this one and led by as many as 41 on their way to an easy 124-92 victory to send Detroit to a franchise record 22 consecutive losses. The previous record was 21 which was over the course of two seasons. Joel Embiid made it look easy on the offensive end as he led Philadelphia with 35 points and 13 rebounds.
Tyrese Maxey added 19 points and four assists, Tobias Harris had 13 points and seven rebounds, Marcus Morris Sr. added 15 including going a perfect 5-for-5 on triples, and Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in with 11 off the bench.
