Player grades: DeRozan scores 49 as Bulls earn double OT victory

DeRozan and LaVine combined for 88 points in the win over Minnesota.

The Chicago Bulls got a much-needed clutch time victory on Friday night with a 139-131 double overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Chicago entered the fourth quarter down by 10 points but DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine took over in the final 12 minutes, including the game-tying layup by DeRozan with 20 seconds remaining, to send the game into overtime.

In the first OT, LaVine hit the game-tying layup with 11 seconds left to send the game into double overtime, where the Big 3 scored all 16 points for the Bulls to get the victory.

DeRozan led the way with 49 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals on 15-of-25 shooting from the floor and 17-of-18 from the free throw line.

LaVine added 39 points of his own on the same 15-of-25 shooting from the field.
