Player grades: Cam Thomas drops 41 as Nets lose to Warriors 124-120

Here are the Brooklyn Nets player grades following Saturday’s 124-120 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

The Brooklyn Nets visited Chase Center on Saturday to face the Golden State Warriors and lost 124-120.

For the Nets, Cam Thomas had 41 points and five rebounds while Nic Claxton had 19 points and 12 rebounds. Mikal Bridges had 18 points and Spencer Dinwiddie had 16 points.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry had 37 points and three blocks while Klay Thompson had 24 points and five rebounds. Brandin Podziemski had 19 points and Andrew Wiggins had 14 points off the bench.

In the first half, the Nets put up a better fight in this one than they did the other night against the Denver Nuggets, but the result at halftime seemed to be the same. Brooklyn could not find an answer for the Warriors offensively as they allowed Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Dario Saric to combine for 42 points in the half.

In the second half, Brooklyn put up a much better fight as they used the third quarter to get back into the game thanks to Thomas continuing his super-scoring ways. In the end, Curry and Thompson did their latest edition of the Splash Bros show and the Nets were the victims of the shooting display.
