Former Las Vegas Raiders defensive back Isaiah Johnson has been signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad, the team announced today.
Drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft, Johnson appeared in 19 games (no starts) and contributed five defended passes and 15 tackles.
Johnson was placed on the physically unable to perform list in the offseason and released when teams cut rosters to the final 53 in August. In October, the Dallas Cowboys signed him to their practice squad, but he was released after two weeks.
Johnson will replace Linden Stephens, who landed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.
We have signed DB Isaiah Johnson to the practice squad.
