The Associated Press announced their All-Pro team for the 2020 NFL season and the Pittsburgh Steelers landed two players on the squad. Pittsburgh is represented by outside linebacker T.J. Watt and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick on the first team and defensive tackle Cam Heyward on the second team.
Watt’s resume speaks for itself. He leads the league in sacks with 15, but he’s also tops in tackles for loss with 26, quarterback pressures with 55 and quarterback hits with 41. Watt is the frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year.
Fitzpatrick returns to the All-Pro for the second-straight season after having another stellar season since coming to Pittsburgh. He led the Steelers with four interceptions and proved his worth as much by being the guy everyone avoided as anything that would show up in the boxscore.
Finally, for Heyward, this is his third time being named an All-Pro. This hasn’t been Heyward’s best season and honestly he was outplayed by teammate Stephon Tuitt but nevertheless, deserves this honor.
