Multiple outlets are now reporting that Dominique Bowman will be the new cornerbacks coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks. This comes just one day after Sam Carter announced his departure for Ole Miss. Bowman currently serves as the defensive backs coach at Marshall University.
Of note: Bowman is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. Arkansas has historically recruited the Memphis area heavily. Bowman actually played his college football under Liberty (and former Ole Miss) head coach Hugh Freeze at Lambuth University. Prior to his time with Marshall, Bowman had stops at Austin Peay, UT-Martin, and UA-Monticello.
Football Scoop initially reported Bowman to Arkansas.
Feels like a good hire for Pittman….
