Third baseman Zane Denton transferred to Tennessee from Alabama ahead of the 2023 season.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Denton is from Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Denton played for the Crimson Tide from 2020-22. He started 58 games for Alabama in 2022, recording a .263 batting average, 13 home runs, 48 RBIs, 35 runs, 61 hits and 22 walks.
In 2023 at Tennessee, Denton hit for the cycle versus Morehead State on March 10. The cycle is the fifth for Tennessee in program history.
Denton hit his first career multi-home run game versus Texas A&M on March 26.
He hit two home runs in a 14-inning win at Clemson on June 3 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament Clemson Regional.
