The North Carolina Tar Heels are 1-0 in Atlantic Coast Conference play and 4-1 overall following the 41-10 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill.
While the rain stayed away for most of the game, UNC’s offense poured it on the Hokies after falling behind 3-0. From there, they out-scored Virginia Tech 41-7 to end the game backed behind the play of Drake Maye and the strong play of the defense, which was much needed.
This is the type of performance that can get positive things going, especially coming off a tough loss to Notre Dame the week prior.
