The North Carolina Tar Heels kept their slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive on Wednesday night.
UNC took care of business by beating Boston College 85-61, jumping out to a lead early and cruising past the Eagles in the second half. They did so with Armando Bacot playing just four minutes in that second half with an ankle injury.
The win was big for North Carolina despite it not being a Quad 1 win.
Instead, it was a game that they really couldn’t lose so getting that win was the first step in potentially making a run in Greensboro. It also advanced them to the quarterfinals where they will face No. 2 Virginia for the third time this season.
Before we get into that Virginia game, let’s take a look at some photos from Wednesday’s win over Boston College.
