Tennessee defeated Alabama, 34-7, in rugby Friday.
The win is Tennessee’s third in conference play this season. The Vols defeated Kennesaw State, 67-0, on Oct. 2 for Scott Tungay’s first victory as Tennessee’s head coach.
Tennessee was victorious, 51-0, at LSU on Oct. 7.
Tungay replaces Marty Bradley who is serving as Tennessee’s director of rugby.
Bradley served as the Vols’ rugby head coach from 2011-21. He served as Tennessee’s assistant coach from 1996-2010 under head coach Butch Robertson.
Bradley guided the Vols to a national championship in 2021.
