Saturday’s contest was the second of a three-game series between the Vols and Wildcats.
Chase Dollander (6-5) started and pitched five innings for Tennessee on Saturday. He recorded six strikeouts, while allowing three earned runs and two walks.
Dollander totaled 103 pitches, including 69 strikes, against 22 batters.
Chase Burns earned a save against Kentucky, totaling 50 pitches (35 strikes). He recorded five strikeouts against 11 batters in the contest.
Jared Dickey hit a home run for the Vols. Four Tennessee players recorded two hits against Kentucky in game No. 2: Maui Ahuna, Blake Burke, Zane Denton and Jared Dickey.
