It was a back-and-forth game at the start. Both teams were hitting shots, mainly from behind the arc.
However, North Carolina did enjoy a 12-point lead heading into the halftime break, with Seth Trimble and Jae’Lyn Withers hitting double figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively, in the half.
It wasn’t a pretty second half. North Carolina kept the lead through the first part of the second half, but it quickly lost it within a four-minute stretch, they were down. However, RJ Davis came in and saved the game helping the Tar Heels get the lead and never look back as they won 90-76.
