Tennessee and Texas A&M baseball are playing for a national championship in the College World Series Finals. The Vols opened a best-of-three series against the Aggies on Saturday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
Tennessee faces elimination on Sunday after losing game No. 1, 9-5.
Chris Stamos (3-1) started for Tennessee and pitched 0.1 innings. He allowed two runs (one earned) and two hits against four batters.
AJ Causey pitched the most inning for the Vols (3.2). He recorded 74 pitches (49 strikes) and five strikeouts.
Tennessee’s offense produced 12 hits, including home runs by Dylan Dreiling and Hunter Ensley.
