For the third straight year, the North Carolina Tar Heels football program ends the regular season with a loss to NC State. Going into this game at 8-3, closing it out strong with a road win and then a bowl game would have been ideal.
But the Tar Heels weren’t in this game from the start as the Wolfpack dominated from the opening possession.
While UNC did manage to find the end zone a few times, they never really got close. And in the end, it was another disappointing loss for the Tar Heel to a rival.
With one game left, the Tar Heels are looking to hopefully end the season on a positive note with a bowl win. But this offseason will bring a lot of questions to the state of the program.
