The NASCAR circuit is staying in the state of North Carolina this week as they will descend on the Charlotte Motor Speedway for racing. And Michael Jordan is making a return to the state with the 23XI Racing team.
Jordan is a co-owner of 23XI racing which features Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick as his two main drivers. This week, the team already released a special UNC-inspired paint scheme for Reddick’s No. 45 car to race in the Coca-Cola 600.
The team opened in 2000 under manufacturer Toyota and Jordan has been involved ever since. And we know he has a thing for cars, so it makes a lot of sense.
With racing set to begin, let’s take a look at some photos of Jordan at NASCAR events over the years.
