PHOTOS: LSU men’s basketball falls at Alabama to lose third straight

LSU couldn’t end its skid against a red-hot Alabama team on the road on Saturday night.

LSU wasn’t able to end its losing skid in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night, falling 109-88 after a big second half from Alabama, which shot 66.7% in the final frame.

The Tigers looked competitive in the first half but ultimately ran out of gas despite a solid overall performance from the offense. The defense, meanwhile, allowed 100+ points for the first time this season and allowed three Crimson Tide players to score 18 points or more.

It’s a frustrating loss, which drops coach Matt McMahon’s team to 11-9 and 3-4 in SEC play. It will look to bounce back after a week off when it returns to its home court next Saturday to face a floundering Arkansas team.

In the meantime, here are the photos from Saturday night’s loss.
