The Tigers have fought in every game this season, and Saturday’s road contest against Kentucky was no different.
LSU went toe-to-toe with the Wildcats in the first half, but it trailed by 10 halfway through the second half. After a major comeback effort, LSU had a chance in the final seconds to send the game to overtime, but an awkward missed three from big-man [autotag]KJ Williams[/autotag] wasn’t close to connecting.
It was a frustrating loss for the Tigers after last week’s upset win over Arkansas, but the [autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] era is still off to a promising start. LSU returns to the court on Saturday at Texas A&M.
