Redshirt junior quarterback Joe Milton III transferred from Michigan to Tennessee in April.
Milton III arrived at Tennessee after the Orange & White spring game.
The 6-foot-5, 244-pound Milton III appeared in 14 games for Michigan from 2018-20.
He totaled 1,194 passing yards, five touchdowns, six interceptions, 156 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
First-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel offered Milton III initially while serving as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Missouri in 2017.
Milton III made his Tennessee debut on Wednesday as the Vols practiced for the first time during fall training camp.
