The LSU Tigers were riding high coming into the season after winning the national title and bringing in the top two transfer portal prospects, but they took a backseat to Colorado in a 92-78 season-opening loss in Las Vegas on Monday night.
LSU had a good night with the new-look group offensively, shooting 43.9% from the field, but the defense struggled. The Buffaloes shot 53.2% from the field and had two players score more than 20 points.
