Despite the Sixers having home court to boost them, a Philly squad sans Joel Embiid and James Harden struggled to keep up with a Boston squad that saw both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum sit.

The Boston Celtics made the trek to Pennsylvania’s Wells Fargo Center to face the Philadelphia 76ers for a rematch of their home preseason opener win and first tilt of their preseason slate of games, and despite the Sixers having home court to boost them, a Philly roster sans Joel Embiid and James Harden struggled to keep up with a Boston squad that saw both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum sit.

The Sixers kept it close early, but hot shooting and transition play gave the Celtics a double-digit cushion near the end of the third frame the team never surrendered, winning 112-101.
