The Boston Celtics came out against the Milwaukee Bucks a bit sluggish, and given their overtime win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, that is no surprise. But a bigger surprise was the lack of fight Boston’s starters showed in the game’s first half, their will to win and the legs needed to do so evidently still back at TD Garden.
Falling behind by as much as 43 points, the Celtics carried the second-biggest franchise deficit into halftime just a day after breaking a record for consecutive home wins. Outclassed in almost every way, this was the definition of a scheduled loss.
Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ 38th game of the 2023-24 NBA season vs. the Bucks.
