The Boston Celtics never trailed against the Brooklyn Nets by more than 3 points at Barclays Center on Tuesday night. They notched their 42nd win of the season and fifth in a row thanks to a monster game by Jayson Tatum and good play by the team as a whole for most of the contest.
The game was a close one for the first frame, but Boston broke it open midway through the second quarter, and held things down with some shakiness late to win 118-110. While the box score might give one the impression the Nets had a shot in this game, the Celtics owned the tilt nearly from the opening tip.
