It was a productive day for the Oklahoma City Thunder starting backcourt. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey were the best player on the court in their respective game.
Giddey finished with 26 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in a win against Japan that clinched the Boomers’ second-round berth. They went 2-1 in group play.
Gilgeous-Alexander had 27 points, six assists and six rebounds in a win against Davis Bertans and Latvia to go 3-0 in group play.
