The Oklahoma City Thunder collected their most impressive win of the season, a 130-123 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
A buzzer-beating turnaround Chet Holmgren 3-pointer stunned the opposing crowd as it appeared seconds earlier Andrew Wiggins had hit a game-winning 3-pointer.
Instead, Holmgren’s 3-pointer headlined his best performance yet. The seven-foot rookie had a career-high 36 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander aided OKC’s win with 40 points on 18-of-29 shooting, an effort that included 10 points in overtime. Jalen Williams also had a big scoring night: 22 points.
Meanwhile, the Warriors were led by Stephen Curry, who had 25 points in his return from a knee strain, and Wiggins’ season-high 31 points.
