Things continue to spiral for LSU basketball.
After a 12-1 start to Matt McMahon’s tenure in Baton Rouge, the Tigers have dropped their last five games and sit at just 1-5 in SEC play. The most recent of those came Wednesday night at home against Auburn 67-49.
LSU had another disastrous offensive outing, shooting just 29.3% from the field, and though the Tigers rallied a bit to start the second half after trailing by 11 at the break, it wasn’t enough.
Things don’t get any easier for LSU, who will now host Tennessee before hitting the road for a rematch against the Arkansas team it upset at the PMAC in December to kick off SEC play.
