Photos: Auburn football continues A-Day preparations

The Tigers continued preparing for Saturday’s A-Day game on Tuesday at the Woltoz Football Performance Center.

The Auburn Tigers continue to prepare for Saturday’s A-Day game, and Hugh Freeze hopes to see a competitive affair at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

“You don’t want to see flags all over the field. That would irritate me,” Freeze said Tuesday. “You want to play clean and you want to execute fairly well on both sides. You don’t want to go out there at 27-0 and the offense doesn’t get a first down the whole day. That would be discouraging.”

Fans will keep their eyes on certain aspects of Auburn’s offense, especially at quarterback and wide receiver. Freeze wants to watch his quarterbacks throw a few passes on Saturday, but cites depth at receiver and offensive line for limitations.

Auburn continued its spring practice session on Tuesday, and USA TODAY photographer Jake Crandall was on hand to snap a few photos. Here is a look at the best images from Tuesday’s practice from Jake Crandall of the Montgomery Advertiser.
