It’s never fun when an opponent comes into Autzen Stadium and leaves with a victory. But it’s worse when it’s the Huskies.

Oregon’s 23-game home winning streak, which began with a win over Washington, comes to an end with a 37-34 loss to the Dawgs. In front of 58,756 fans, the two teams battled for the entire 60 minutes and the game finally ended on a failed Hail Mary attempt.

What hurts even more for the Ducks was that this game was in their grasp and they let it slip away. Oregon orchestrated a 20-play, 91-yard drive that wound up with a field goal because Bo Nix was injured on a third-down play, which threw all of Oregon’s plans out the window.

Washington quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. played the game of his life and move two touchdown throws that are primed for the highlight reel. One went for 78 yards and the game-tying bomb went for 62 yards.

Peyton Henry’s 43-yard field goal eventually won the game for Washington. Here is what was a heart-wrenching night inside Autzen in photos.
