ANN ARBOR, Mich. — It was something of a ho-hum victory for Michigan football, with the 2023 season opener against East Carolina.
Without Jim Harbaugh or Sherrone Moore on the sideline, Jesse Minter, the Wolverines’ acting head coach for Week 1, commandeered an offense that was efficient in the pass game, but stalled in the run game. The defense was as advertised with the only score from the opposing Pirates coming by virtue of a walk-off field goal to end the game.
WolverinesWire’s Isaiah Hole was on the sidelines for the game at The Big House. Here are his favorite pictures he was able to capture from the contest.
