Whenever Oregon goes down on The Farm to take on Stanford, no matter what the records are, it seems to be a game where unusual things occur, good and bad.
Back in 2021, there was plenty of bad as the No. 3 Ducks were upset 31-24 in overtime. Now in 2023, the Oregon offense was missing in action for the first quarter. But Bo Nix and the rest of the Ducks figured it out and scored 42 unanswered points to defeat Stanford.
Oregon is now 5-0 for the first time in a decade and sets up the biggest game against the Huskies in a long, long time. Both will be Top 10 teams, undefeated and the winner will have the inside track to the Pac-12 title game.
In order for all of that to occur, the Ducks had to avoid the weirdness that happens at Stanford. Oregon managed to come home fairly unscathed. Here’s the big road win in pictures.
