While most of the top teams are having trouble with so-called lesser teams, the Oregon Ducks football team just keeps taking care of business.
The Ducks ended the game by halftime by scoring on their first six possessions of the game to take a commanding 42-0 lead. In the process, Troy Franklin became the program’s all-time leading receiver in yards and touchdowns and tight end Patrick Herbert showed how dangerous he can be with two touchdowns of his own.
While the offense was cruising, the defense more than held its own against an unconventional Arizona State offense that saw a quarterback, a tailback and even a tight end all take snaps.
Nothing deterred them, however, as the Ducks held ASU to a couple of meaningless field goals and a touchdown. But the game was over by then.
Here’s Oregon’s first ever November win in the desert in photos.
