Alabama football introduced the program’s 28th head coach, Kalen DeBoer, on Saturday. Becoming a head coach of any major program comes with its pressure, but being the successor to Nick Saban takes it to a whole new level.
The brief ceremony was highlighted by comments from DeBoer, athletic director Greg Byrne and University of Alabama President Stuart Bell.
Fans received a chance to hear from their new head coach and the DeBoer era got underway in Tuscaloosa, closing the book on the Saban era.
