The first long stretch of offseason is now behind us in Eugene, as the Oregon Ducks officially took the field for their first of 15 spring practices of the 2023 season.
There were new faces to see and familiar friends to greet. We got to see the handful of new coaches on Oregon’s staff get down to business on a brisk morning at the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex, as whistles blew and energy was palpable. There was yelling and screaming while head coach Dan Lanning’s voice boomed over a loudspeaker, with music blaring behind him.
Oregon football is back.
The next several weeks will look much the same as the Ducks prepare for their annual spring game on April 29th. It’s not a sight that we will get tired of any time soon. Here are some of the best photos from the first day of practice in Eugene.
