The Oregon Ducks were out in the heat of the day on Saturday afternoon for their second practice of the season. On Friday, Lanning said that they moved fall practices for the better part of August to the afternoon so that the team could get used to the heat and embrace the strain that comes with playing in that heat.
There weren’t many major takeaways from the media-allowed portion of the practice, other than the fact that both OL TJ Bass and WR Justius Lowe were back with their position groups after stretching, rather than on the side field going through rehabilitation drills. The team went through special teams drills, ball security drills, and some run-blocking drills.
