The Cowboys used their first-round selection in multiple ways on Thursday night. Not only did they select their hopefully future franchise left tackle, but they added on another third-round pick. Trading back from No 24, the club chose from four different offers and settled with the Detroit Lions, who offered up the No. 29 and No. 73 pick in exchange.
With their pick, Dallas selected Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton. Guyton has a ton of potential, which may be untapped due to how little he’s played the game. Only starting football as a senior in high school, Guyton grew up a Cowboys fan. Here’s a quick gallery of his time as a Sooner.
