It was another hard-fought win for the No. 18 Auburn Tigers, who took down Georgia State 72-64 Wednesday night in Neville Arena.
The Tigers got out to a slow start but [autotag]Jaylin Williams[/autotag] was able to spark the offense and lead the Tigers to their ninth win of the season. He led all players with 20 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocks.
His efficiency was just as impressive, he went 8-of-11 from the field and made two of his three shots behind the arc.
The Tigers were trailing 31-28 at the half after shooting 31.8% from the floor and making just one three-pointer. But they rallied to outscore the Panthers 44-33 after the break.
Williams led the attack in the second half but [autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag] was also able to make an impact, scoring nine points on just four shots and grabbing four rebounds.
