The Suns lost in embarrassing fashion in their last game to the Washington Wizards, who then had players test positive for COVID-19, leading to three postponements for the Suns as they underwent contact tracing.
Phoenix has not lost consecutive games yet this season. Memphis, though, has won four in a row. The Suns are rested and itching to play after a week off. Take the SUNS (-190).
Against the spread (ATS)
The Suns still have the second-best cover percentage in the NBA at 63.2%. They have covered the spread in every win and, when they do not cover, they lose outright. Memphis is 7-5 ATS and 3-2 ATS as underdogs. They have been playing well but with Phoenix’s time off, I expect them to come out and play even better. Take the SUNS -4.5 (-115).
Over/Under (O/U)
