The Lakers have lost two in a row and must deal with the absence of F Anthony Davis, who will be out several weeks with a sprained knee. Before their two straight losses, they had won six of their previous eight games.

PASS on the money line. The Suns are rolling and are just too expensive to bet here in the regular season.
The Lakers are absolutely decimated by a COVID-19 outbreak and now the injury to Davis, who is the one player they can’t afford to lose.
The Suns are at full strength. The Lakers are far from it and not nearly as good this year as the Suns.
Against the spread
Relative to their overall record, the Suns have not done well against the spread at 16-13 ATS overall, but they have covered the spread in their last three games. Five of their last seven wins have been by at least eight points.
The Lakers are tied for the worst record against the spread this season at 12-19 ATS. They are 6-11 ATS at home.
It is going to be hard for them to keep up with a healthy Suns team that is playing some of the best basketball in the entire league.
