Phillies bettor cashes $100,000 parlay thanks to all the home runs in World Series Game 3

Two bettors win big on Tuesday as Philly hits five home runs in Game 3 victory.

The Philadelphia Phillies won Game 3 of the World Series not with a bang, but with a series of bangs as the home team hit five (yes, FIVE) home runs in a 7-0 blowout of the Astros. Houston’s starting pitcher Lance McCullers gave up all five homers through the first five innings, leading some to wonder if the ace was tipping his pitches.

Two bettors benefitted greatly off of the home run derby at Citizen’s Bank Park on Tuesday evening, placing bets on a seemingly improbable situation.

One bold soul placed a $100 bet that all four of Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Rhys Hoskins, and Brandon Marsh would go deep (+100000). They did, and that paid out a whopping $100,100.

In New Jersey, another bettor put a solid $1k on Marsh and Scwharber to go yard. That netted a cool $65,812.50.

The World Series continues on Wednesday night with Game 4 as Philadelphia looks to win its first title since 2008. Will more bettors benefit from the Phillies’ October magic?
